Lent invites us into honesty, silence, and return.
You are invited to a Lenten Quiet Morning at St. Helen’s, a simple, spacious time for prayer and reflection in the heart of the season. Together we will listen, sit in silence, and make room for God’s presence.
Our guiding scripture will be Ezekiel 39:21–29, a text that holds both exile and restoration, hiddenness and return. It speaks of a God who does not abandon, even when the way forward feels fractured or unclear, a God who gathers, restores, and pours out Spirit anew.
This Quiet Morning will include:
Opening prayer
Scripture reflection
Extended periods of silence
Space for personal prayer and journaling
No preparation is required. Come as you are. This morning is intended for anyone longing for quiet, depth, and a pause amid the demands of daily life.
Date: Saturday, February 21
Time: 9:00 am–12:30 pm
Location: St. Helen’s Anglican Church
Cost: No cost; all are welcome
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Silence will be observed for much of the morning.
